AWS Developer Experience: Marketing Team - Concept Work
OPEN SOURCE ANIMATION - Storyboard
Introduction
My role was to create a visual for the Open Source site page. I conducted research and interviews to learn how people would describe open source at AWS and started drawing visuals.
Approach
Originally, I wanted to create an animation illustrating Open Source, so I created an animated mind map of radial circles pulsing, connected by a web. But I thought it would have greater emotional impact to bring real people, AWS Heroes, into the project to create a storytelling narrative.
Conclusion
I collected video content from different conference events and paired it with illustrated
designs from my research along with a voiceover, with the ending being a call to action.
